Christmas: an experience to be lived with all five senses.
The Christmas campaign is the most special and eagerly awaited of the year.
The Garden is completely transformed for Christmas to offer much more than beautiful decorations: we create a world to be experienced with all five senses. Every corner surprises, every detail is thought through and every department gets involved to make the experience special. From decorations to indoor and outdoor plants —with all the variety Christmas brings, above all fir trees and poinsettias—, the florist shines brighter than ever with fragrant sprigs, with eucalyptus taking centre stage, Christmas centrepieces and wreaths, gourmet products, turrón… and even the pet department has special little treats. Everything breathes Christmas.
But we go further: we organise floristry workshops, creative activities for children and ideas for families to share special moments.
Every year we add elements that make people dream. This year, for example, we had a giant Tió that filled the Garden with excitement and smiles. And, as tradition dictates, there is also mistletoe for the classic kiss under the mistletoe.
At Christmas, the Garden is not just a place to shop: it is a space to stroll, find inspiration, feel the magic and create memories that last all year.
Bordas Tip
Christmas trees, even when cut or with few roots, are still living plants. Indoors they suffer a great deal from the heating, so it is important to help them stay moist. We can do this in two ways: place a saucer of water under the plaster pot or, for cut trees, use a special stand that acts as a water reservoir and needs topping up. That way your tree will look fresh and beautiful throughout the festive season.
